Abby is a cellist and composer working across classical and experimental contexts. Her work explores texture, form, and embodiment, as well as the relationships between acoustic and electronic sound and place.
In 2021, Abby received the New North Emerging Artist Commission and went on to release her debut album on Altered States Tapes. She has performed at venues including Substation, NGV, Make It Up Club, Phoenix Central Park, MONA, and MPavilion as part of their Dusk till Dawn series, among others. She holds a Bachelor of Music (Interactive Composition) from the Victorian College of the Arts and a Diploma in Music Production from Collarts.
